Why did you choose to study with one of QMU's collaborative partner institutions, and what attracted you to the course?
I decided to study with QMU after conducting detailed research regarding their partner institution Metropolitan College, located in my home country of Greece, and Queen Margaret University itself. Both have high respect from the academic community and their students too. I think that my degree will be valuable as the combined history and achievements of Metropolitan College and QMU are considerable. I decided to take part in this programme because I wanted to gain knowledge about business management as I aim to improve the profitability and the administration of my family's farming business.
What did you enjoy most about your course?
I really appreciated the high quality of communication with my teachers and their perpetual efforts to deliver excellent lectures, even remotely, because of the pandemic.
Were there any particular course activities you found especially interesting?
I found it especially interesting that the teachers tried to explain every part of the theory through real-life examples and case studies. The most interesting aspect of the course was creating a business plan, which taught me the importance of planning in both your business and personal life.

Do you have any advice for students who might be interested in this course?
Yes, the Business Management course delivered by QMU and Metropolitan College provides a wide variety of knowledge on how to run an organisation, using both a theoretical framework and a real-life perspective.
What's your' top tip' for making the most of being a student, and what was the most valuable lesson you learned?
In my opinion, the 'top tip' for every student is to try and improve yourself every day and combine these efforts with a lot of fun activities in your daily routine.
Can you tell us about your life post-graduation?
I plan to apply the knowledge gained through my degree to my family's farming business. The maximisation of production and profits, combined with respect for human resources, is the primary goal. I am also planning to study a postgraduate course relating to agribusiness in order to expand upon skills gained through my bachelor's degree.
Anything else you'd like to share about life as a student or graduate?
I believe that when someone is patient and persistent, they can achieve everything, and they will be rewarded as a result.
