Short Courses at QMU
We offer a range of short courses that can help you gain new knowledge and develop new skills. Generally speaking, these courses are open to all (ie you don't need prior qualifications). Details of each course are set out on this page.
Skills for Good
QMU is committed to social justice and our purpose is to create a better society through education. As such, our short courses focus on employability and skills development for the public and not-for-profit sectors.
Options to gain credit towards a PgCert or degree
Some of our short courses carry academic credit and in most cases this credit can be used towards a higher award – for example, a Postgraduate Certificate - should you wish to continue with further study. Other courses are not assessed and therefore are not credit bearing, however, participants will be provided with a certificate of attendance.
