Entry Requirements

For undergraduate courses:

Admission to our undergraduate programmes can be made by those holding a relevant diploma or other recognised qualification such as GCE A Levels, International Baccalaureate, American High School Diploma with SAT’s or AP’s or other recognised qualification.

Applicants with a good Higher Secondary Certificate from Bangladesh will usually be required to undertake additional study, such as a relevant and acceptable foundation programme such asÌý,ÌýorÌý to be considered for entry. Other alternatives include a relevant and acceptable college qualification such as a Higher National Certificate or Diploma from a UK Further Education College.

For postgraduate courses:

We will consider applications from students holding a good four year Bachelors degree from a recognised university. Students with a Masters of Arts/Science/Commerce or Engineering may also be eligible.

Please note that the above is given for guidance only and that entry requirements will vary between courses. We may also be looking for a strong Statement of Purpose/Personal Statement, some work experience or specific subjects to have been studied at an advanced level. Scholarships, Fees and Funding

QMU Scholarships:

The University is pleased to offer aÌýnumber of competitive scholarshipsÌýof up to £3,000 each for new international students undertaking their first year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. The scholarship is granted as a reduction of the tuition fee and is available to students who are self-funding with an international tuition fee of more than £9,000 for a single year of study only. Applications can be made by students who have received an offer of a place of study at the University.
