Louisa Yeung (MSc, MSpecEd) is a Lecturer in Audiology in the Speech and Hearing Sciences Division. She is also a senior paediatric audiologist at NHS Lothian.

Louisa Yeung earned her M.Sc. in Audiology from the University of Hong Kong in 2006, and later obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education at the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2011.
She is a registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, a registered Audiologist and a certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist. Louisa has practised as an Audiologist and/or Auditory-Verbal Therapist in various places including Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore.
She also has extensive experience in university teaching and taught in the University of Hong Kong from 2012 to 2021. Currently, Louisa works part-time at the University and is also a senior paediatric audiologist at NHS Lothian.

I teach in both audiology programs - Diploma in Hearing Aid Technology, and MSc (Pre-registration) in Audiology. I am teaching a range of theoretical and practical topics in audiology, with a particular focus on modules related to paediatric audiology populations.
