Helen C. Hubbard is a Lecturer in Culinary Arts in the Queen Margaret University Business School.

Prior to joining QMU Helen pursued a broad and varied career in both the private and third sectors within the food and hospitality industry, working with small independent businesses and large branded organisations. Helen has worked across a wide area of disciplines including marketing, commercial and product development, operational management and delivering front-line hospitality.
Helen has also completed a PGCE in Food Technology and has delivered food technology education in England and Scotland. In 2015 Helen joined QMU to study the MSc Gastronomy course and joined QMU as a lecturer in 2021. Helen continues to teach food technology education, as well as. working with organisations in supporting them in developing food related business and those working on food policy.
Current teaching includes modules from International Hospitality and Tourism. Helen is also part of the Transnational Partnership Team working with QMU overseas partners in delivering IHTM.
